Benny S. Lopez, 71, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2006. He was born and raised in Bernardo, NM. He served in the Armed Forces where he was a jet engine technician which was one of his many careers. He is survived by his wife, Helen; mother, Ramona Lopez; his daughters, Irene Molina and husband, Manuel, Rita Lopez and husband, Jake, Anna Candelaria and husband, Victor; two sons, Benny Lopez Jr. and wife, Anna Marie, and Isaac Lopez; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters. Tata, we will miss your big blue eyes and your beautiful smile. You'll always be in our hearts and in our souls. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Love, your children. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church on the 12th as well. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 13, 2006 at San Jose Church at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Dominic Lopez, Michael Molina, Nicholas Lopez, Jonathan Molina, Anthony Archuleta, Frank Mendoza, Jeremy Jaramillo, and Paul Gallegos.
