Fidela Valencia-Lovato, was born April 27, 1932. She was called home to be with our Lord early Tuesday morning, September 26, 2006. Fidela is survived by an aunt, Rufina Castillo; brother, Mariano and Josie Valencia; sisters, Tillie Tafoya, Betty and Ralph Salas; children, Robert and Lillian Lovato, Andrew Lovato, Anthony and Isabel Lovato, Joe Lovato, Alex and Christine Lovato, Christine and Joe Valdez. Fidela was blessed with 49 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM, on Friday, September 29, 2006. A Rosary for Fidela will be recited at 12:00 Noon followed by the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 1:00 pm. There will then be a funeral procession to San Luis, NM, where she will be laid to rest. Following the burial the family will gather at the home of Robert and Lillian Lovato in San Luis, NM.
