Obituary for BADGER

Tannoth Autumn Badger, 31, passed away on August 31, 2006, surrounded by family and friends, after an extremely courageous three plus year battle with brain cancer. Tannoth is survived by her children, Michaila and Avi Franklin of Corrales; her mother, Yvonne, and her husband Jeff Loubet of Albuquerque; her father, Al Badger and his wife, Susan of Carlsbad, CA; her sister, Kendra McConnell and her children, Morgan and Kyle Giampaolo of LaJolla, CA; her brother, Traffin Lawrence of Albuquerque; her grandmother, Wilma Phelps of Albuquerque; her aunt, Teena Morris of Albuquerque and sons Seth Morris of Las Vegas, NM, and Ezra Turney of Arivaca, AZ; and her ex-husband, Russell Franklin and his wife, Karree and their children, Colton and Kassidy of Corrales. Tannoth graduated in 1992 from El Dorado High School. From 1992-1996, she was a professional in martial arts,boxing and kickboxing. In 1992 in Phoenix, AZ, in her pro-boxing debut, she scored a second-round technical knock-out against her seasoned opponent. She continued with martial arts until her love for graphic arts became paramount in her life. Between 1999 and 2002, Tannoth received an Associate of Arts in Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from The Art Center Design College in Albuquerque. In 2002, she was employed by Clear Channel Outdoor in Albuquerque as Creative Director. Additionally, she was an Adjunct Professor at The Art Center Design College and started her own business, Foundry Creative Services. Tannoth was a very talented artist and her unique designs, portraits and murals can be seen all over Albuquerque and surrounding areas. Tannoth was well known for her sense of humor and her dry wit. She made many, many good friends in her travels through life, and made quite an impact on people whose lives she touched. She will certainly be missed. Tannoth's family wishes to thank Vista Care Hospicen for their loving care and support. Tannoth's life was celebrated by family and friends on September 1, 2006. Cremation has taken place and, at Tannoth's request, her ashes were disbursed by her family in her special place during a private service held in Durango, CO. Those wishing to honor Tannoth can do so by remembering her children, Michaila and Avi, with a contribution to their educational fund.
