Robert Joseph Gallagher, 60 and a resident of Rio Rancho, died September 22, 2006. He was born June 5, 1946, to Joseph Gallagher and Martha Bahmeuller (Gallagher) in Philadelphia, PA. The U.S. Navy veteran worked as a studio manager in chemical etching and manufacturing. He was also a collector of antique railroad and fire truck memorabilia. Robert is survived by his wife of 32 years, Enid Gallagher of Rio Rancho; daughter, Amanda Schaefer and husband Todd of Ewa Beach, HI; his mother, Martha Gallagher; sister Charlene Longacre of Spinnerstown, PA; grandchild, Ryan Schaefer; nieces and nephews-in-law, Christina Corfield, Colleen Saitta, Ryan Naugle and Dave Saitta; great-niece, Shannon Saitta, and great-nephew, Brody. Rosary will be Monday, September 25, 2006, at 7 p.m. in the Daniels Family Funeral Services chapel at Vista Verde, 4310 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho, N.M. Deacon Frank Smith officiates. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 28, in St. Isidore Catholic Church in Quakertown, PA. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
