Frank Fidel Sosaya Jr. passed away on September 11, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Serbie Sosaya; parents, Frank F. Sosaya Sr. and Andrea Sanchez; sisters, Helen and Dolores; and brother, Bobby Sosaya. Frank Jr. is survived by his sons: Frank David, Gilbert, Gene; daughters, Barbara Sosaya and husband, Colin Barton, Stephanie Sherman and husband, Brimmer; grandchildren, Brenton Barton and Brooke Sherman; brothers, Eddie, Raymond, Mannie, and Jimmy Sosaya. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. Frank served in World War II and Korea in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a journeyman and was a member of the Local 412 Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Union. Also, he served as a building inspector for the City of Santa Fe. He was an active member of the VFW and the American Legion. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the local VFW in Frank's name. A memorial Mass is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2006 at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church with interment to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
