Eddie Rael, age 79, passed away Friday, September 8, 2006 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ramona Rael of Albuquerque; two daughters, Kathy Urban and husband, Stan of Cedar Park, TX and Diane Dudley and husband, Jim of Roswell, NM; brother, Tony Rael and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; step-children, Carmen Sena and husband, Gilbert, George Rodriguez and wife, Joanna, Ray Forsythe and wife, Trish, Mark Forsythe, all of Albuquerque, and Andy Rodriguez and wife, Colleen of Colorado Springs, CO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Rael was preceded in death by his parents, Felicita and Miguel Rael and brothers, Meliano and Orlando Rael. He was retired from Sandia National Labs after 30 years of service. Eddie was a veteran of WWII, member of American Legion Post 49, VFW Post 401, and the Thunderbirds. Mr. Rael was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice Foundation, 5639 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Memorial Rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, the corner of Phoenix and Claremont NE. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 14, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Ennichement of cremated remains will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
