Obituary for VIGIL

Mario P. Vigil, age 17, beloved and devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, passed away as a result of an auto accident, Thursday, September 7, 2006. Mario was a resident of Algodones, NM, and was a member of the Catholic Church. He was attending Freedom High School in Albuquerque and would of graduated in December; he worked at the family business, Vigil's Jerky Plant in Algodones, NM. Mario enjoyed hunting, fishing, boxing, and all sports; he mostly loved getting together with his family and friends. Mario will always be remembered for his loving and outgoing personality. He was preceded in death by his uncle Charlie in April 2006. Mario is survived by his loving parents, Paul and Lourdes Vigil of the family home; his best brothers he could ever have, Adam and Anthony Vigil; his loving grandmother, Lucia Vigil; one niece, Aliyah Vigil; and other beloved family members and friends. Mario will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary for Mario will be recited Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow at the Algodones Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Unale, Isaiah Aguilar, Armando Escarcega, Augie Brazil, Daniel Ready, and Joshua Ortiz.
