Obituary for TRUJILLO

Nancy Virginia Trujillo went to reside in the Kingdom of Heaven on September 8, 2006. She was 56. Nancy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ted; daughters, Elizabeth and Sara; mother, Doris Lawrence; sister, Patricia and husband, Dan Winnett; father-in-law, Ted Trujillo; son-in-law, John Trujillo, husband to Sara; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Baca and husband, Barney, JoAnn Wright and husband, Rick, Margaret Magallanez and husband, Felipe; brothers-in-law, Jerry Montoya, Anthony Trujillo and wife, Lena, Thomas Trujillo and wife, Ana; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and sisters in faith. She is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Lawrence; mother-in-law, Anna Trujillo; and sister-in-law, Betty Montoya. Nancy was born on November 9, 1949 in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Dulaney High School in Maryland, and received her degree in wildlife management from Arizona State University. Most recently, Nancy was a resident of Corrales, but she also called Baltimore, MD, Phoenix, AZ, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Atlanta, GA, home. Throughout her life, Nancy strived to reach others with the teachings of Christ. She was active in Community Bible Study, both as student and teacher of the teachings of Jesus. Nancy was also an active participant in Samaritan's Purse. She loved horseback riding and spending time with her family. Private services will be held. Her family asks in lieu of flowers, donations to help further ovarian cancer research are made in her name to the UNM Cancer Research and Treatment Center, Development Office, MSC08 4630, 1 University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM 87131-0001.
