CHRIS L. MEHRING MAY 7, 1959-September 8, 2005. To the love of my life and very loving father. Not a day goes by that we don't miss you. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone; for part of us went with you. You left us sweet memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. What we most miss about you is those beautiful blue eyes, the way you used to wake up every morning singing to us. Not a day went by that you didn't tell us you loved us. Rest in peace my love, and I look forward to the day we meet again. You will always be in our hearts. I love you very much and always will.
