Carlos Montoya, 86, born in Las Vegas, NM, on February 2, 1920, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2006. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus "The Mirada", and a Foster Grandparent. Carlos was also the recipient of the Jefferson Award in 1997. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances; sons Bobby and Charlie; grandson Tommy. He is survived by his daughters, Cecelia, Carmen, Linda, Dolores, Darlene, Merlene and Debra; along with his sons, Adonias (Robert) and Joe, also Son-in-Laws, Paul, Billy, Johnny, David and Daughter-in-Law MaryAnn; as well as his long time companion Mary. Carlos had a total of 101 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He also had many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Viewing and Rosary Services will be held at Holy Family Church, 550 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque, on Monday September 11, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 309 Stover Ave SW, Albuquerque, on Tuesday September 12, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. The burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
