Mrs. Mathilda S. Lucero, 64, a resident of Estancia, NM, passed away on September 7, 2006. Mrs. Lucero is the beloved wife to Mr. Wilfred Lucero, married for 35 years. Mrs. Lucero is also survived by her loving children, Robert Lucero and wife, Cynthia, John Lucero and wife, Mary, Wilfred Lucero Jr., Erick Lucero, Nancy Gabaldon and Evelyn Martinez; two sisters, Nancy Lujan and husband, Paul, Kathleen Torres and husband, Clem; one brother, Niels Jensen and wife, Anna; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lucero was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Lucero will be Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Juan Lucero. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Monsignor Douglas Raun and Father William Young. Interment will follow in the Estancia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dave Cebellas, David Archuleta, Bobby Lucero, Richard Jensen, Ronald Padilla and David Marquez.
