Frank Taylor, 83, died peacefully at home on August 21, 2006, nearly 3 years after the death of his dear wife, Peggy. Frank was born in Los Angeles, attended Pepperdine and USC, and served in Europe in WWII. His first wife, Arleen, brought Frank to her native New Mexico, where he taught school in Capitan, Roswell, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Tularosa, made films, Sandia Labs, built 2 houses, sang with the Enchanters, and made innumerable photographs. In retirement, Frank was active in the Unitarian Church, and was delivering Meals on Wheels up to a month before his death. Frank is missed by his daughters, Alice and Betty Kay; his stepdaughters, Deborah Quick and Betsy Matthews; his stepsons, Roy and James Matthews Jr.; and by a large circle of friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held September 1, 2006 at First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Unitarian Church.
