Wanda Robbie, a resident of Placitas, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2006. Wanda was born in Trier, Germany in 1928 and was a Holocaust survivor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Robbie and her son, Scott Robbie. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Verdugo and husband, John; grandchildren, Sierra and Tino, all of Placitas. She was a wise, witty, and remarkable woman who was much loved by her family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Watermelon Mountain Ranch. She requested that rather than a memorial service, a party be held to celebrate her life. Friends are invited to the family home on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 4 p.m.
