CHRIS (CRESENCIO) S. Mr. Chris (Cresencio) S. Chavez, 96, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 15, 2006. Mr. Chavez is the beloved father to Christopher D. Chaves and wife, Joan, Faye Chavez, Margaret Young and husband, Al. Mr. Chavez is also survived by six grandchildren, Christine, Curtis, Charles, Chad, Cathy, and Karen; ten great-grandchildren, James Christopher, Christopher David, Cynthia Clare, Jennifer, Christopher David, Daniel Cassidy, Logan, Ryan Christopher, and Nicholas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Chavez. Mr. Chavez was a member of the Catholic Church. A Graveside Blessing by Deacon Harry Beare will be Thursday morning, August 17, 2006 at 10 a.m. San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his family.
