Margaret E. "Liz" Cunningham Owens, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005 after a battle with breast cancer. She was born in El Paso, TX on August 18, 1924 and was raised in Hillsboro, NM. She preceded the love of her life, her husband, Frank D. Owens, in death. She is survived by her two children, Linda Owens and Jim Owens, his wife, Rudi, and one granddaughter, Sydney Owens. This lady had such a huge heart and dearly loved her family, friends, and the land. And, she never knew a stranger. Liz will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Union Church, Hillsboro, NM. Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the Memorial Service.
