Obituary for SCHUBERT

Mary Page Schubert, a prominent New Mexican born 1915 in Albuquerque to original Atrisco land grant settlers, Antionette Lucero and Candido Page, passed away August 2, 2006 in Huntington Beach, CA. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, a distinguished businessman and dedicated public servant, Albert Schubert in 1983. She was sister to the 1930s silent screen star Don Alvarado and Carlos Alvarado, movie agent associated with Warner Brothers Studio. She was a member of the Rose Society, Our Lady of Assumption Church, and an active member of Saint Mary's School. She was known as a vibrant, witty, loving, and gracious hostess and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her son, Albert C. Schubert (Val de Vargas), Donald Schubert and wife, Barbara; daughter, Marilyn and husband, Dr. William Sinclair; her eight grandchildren: Marita, Val, and Vanessa DeVargas, Peter and Tony Schubert, Robyn Kupperberg, Andrew Sinclair, and Marisa Pier; her ten great-grandchildren: Nevada Shane, Gavin and Dylan Walters, Alina, Connor, and Tristan Sinclair, Desiree Kirikos, Kamyrn Kupperberg, Isabella Pier, and Keala Schubert; brother-in-law, Alfred Schubert, wife, Edwina; and sister-in-law, Ermelee Schubert. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Fitzgerald and Son Mortuary. A Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2006 at Our Lady of Assumption Church with burial at Mt. Calvary.
