Obituary for FREEZE

Leonard O. Freeze, 84, previously a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 31 years, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 10, 2006, in Montgomery, AL, where he had made his new home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 13, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 - 3 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday. Leonard bravely suffered with Parkinson's disease for six years, but is now in Heaven with a new body. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and retired from Amarillo Hardware Company after 35 years of service as a salesman. His life's passions were his family and golf. Leonard is survived by his wife, Billie J. Freeze; two children, Terry Freeze and his wife, Dawn, of Albuquerque, NM, Cindy Richardson and her husband, Mark, of Montgomery, AL; three grandchildren, Brent Freeze and his wife, Dolores, of Albuquerque, NM, Andrew and Stephen Richardson, of Montgomery, AL; one great-grandson, Cade Freeze, of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Anita Jeffrey and her husband, Grady of Baytown, TX. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Wiregrass Hospice and his in-home caregivers.
