Obituary for PORTER

James A. (Jim) Porter, 75, an Albuquerque resident since 1986, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally Porter of Albuquerque; son, Michael James Porter of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Kimberly Hutchinson of Ogden, UT; grandchildren, Jessica Hutchinson of Logan, UT, Justin Hutchinson and Brandon Hutchinson, both of Ogden, UT; brother, Charles Porter and wife, Betty; sister, Virginia Porter and Rita Kline and husband, John, all of Ohio. Jim was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was currently employed with Carlo, Inc. Jim was active for many years with the NM Volunteers for the Outdoors. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2006 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
