Nancy Ann Westbrook, 70, a resident of Placitas, NM since 1998 and formerly of Littleton, CO, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2006. Nancy was born May 26, 1936 the daughter of William and Nancy Eastin Wurm in Rehoboth, NM. She was a volunteer for the Balloon Fiesta and the Bernalillo Public Schools. President of the Homeowners Association, worked for the American Heart Association, member of the Placitas Garden Club, and a Charter Member of the Placitas Public Library. Nancy's favorite quote was "Can't spend all your time sleeping because time will pass you by." Nancy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Albert E. Westbrook of Placitas, NM; two sons, Eric E. Westbrook of Placitas, NM, and Alan W. Westbrook and wife, Patty of Henderson, NV; and three grandchildren, Skyler, Jayden, and Kylie Westbrook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10021. A Service for Nancy will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Gary Coots and John McWilliam officiating.
