Willie B. Baca, age 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, was born in Magdalena, NM and lived in Albuquerque since he was a young boy. He was a Veteran of World War II, honorably serving his country in the U.S. Army. Willie then worked for Sandia National Laboratory for 35 years. He was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where he proudly served as usher for many years. Willie was preceded in death by his sons, Willie Baca Jr. and Larry Steven Baca; his loving wife, Clorinda Eva Baca; four brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his son, Michael Baca and wife, Elisha; daughters, Christina Caraveo, Patricia Plourde and husband, Paul, Kathleen Gallegos and husband, Geno; grandchildren, Ernesto, Evangelina, Victoria, Anita, Rueben, Lani, Renee, Zachary, Geno, Diona, Dominic, Sarah, Nicole, Jennifer, David, and Rebekah; great-grandchildren, Elisa, Vicente, Nicole, Jeremy, Rianna, Ravae, Davon, Vanessa, Brianna, Ethnee, and Baby Gibson; other nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2006, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Baca, Geno Gallegos, Dominic Gallegos, Ernesto Caraveo, Bill Gibson, and David Jaramillo.
