Lucinda Gonzales Pino Stanton passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Monument, CO on August 1, 2006. She was born in Tijeras, NM on April 9, 1917 to Serafin Gonzales and Josefa Chavez. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Manuel Nuanez Pino; second husband, Ernest C. Stanton; and 16 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Manuel Pino Jr. and wife, Jennie of Salt Lake City, UT; John Pino and wife, Jan of Mt. Vernon, WA; Toby Pino Sr. and wife, Lydia of Los Lunas, NM; daughter, Marcie Miller and husband, Rex of Monument, CO; sister, Armelinda Pargas and brother, Fidel Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, August 4, 2006 at 7:00 a.m. at French's Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE in Albuquerque, NM. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont St. NE in Albuquerque, NM. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
