Janet Ida Funkhouser, 85, passed away May 15, 2006 at her home in Ocala, FL. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Richard, of Ocala; daughter, Judith Moore; grandchildren, Brian, Darren, Jason, and Jennifer Moore of Albuquerque, and Stacey Chavis of Edinburgh, Scotland; son-in-law, William Moir of Flagstaff, AZ; sisters, Pauline Parris and Gladys Carlin; and niece, Janet Cinelli. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Peter Musser; and her daughter, Nancy Moir. Jan and Richard are members of St. Andrew Church where she served as a Deacon. She was involved with Women of the World and Welcome Wagon. Jan loved being a Mother and Grandmother, being a homemaker, entertaining, traveling, and playing bridge. A Memorial Service for Jan will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 5301 Ponderosa, NE, with Rev. Dr. Frank Yates officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Jan may be made to Hospice of Marion County, The Legacy House, 9505 SW 110th St., Ocala, FL 34481
