Virginia Banks, 89, died peacefully in her home after a long illness on Thursday, July 27, 2006. She was born on June 11, 1917. Mrs. Banks moved to Albuquerque with her family from Wagoner, OK in 1962. Ever since her move she had been an active and beloved member of the First Baptist Church in Albuquerque. Mrs. Banks is survived by her daughter, Deborah Banks; and son, Larry Banks, both of Albuquerque. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
