Wanda Daugherty, age 70, passed away July 8, 2006. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph Wright Daugherty and James Kent Case; and her daughter, Karen Sue. She is survived by her son, Bill and his wife, Julie; her step-daughter, Katy and her husband, Ken; three step-sons, Steve, Craig, and Sam; as well as seven grandchildren. Mom overcame losses and tragedies that might have crushed the spirit of someone weaker, someone less committed to making the most of God's gift of life. She never faltered. Her life was a testament to courage and love and her strength inspired love and devotion in those closest to her. We will miss her every day. A Memorial Service will be held at Shepard Lutheran Church, 3900 Wyoming Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, Friday, July 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." (John 11:25.)
