Emma M. Garcia, born in Albuquerque (Old Town) on February 24, 1927, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2006, with her sister Mary at her side. She will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. Special thanks go to Vista Care Hospice who lovingly cared for Emma during her final days. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at San Felipe de Neri Church on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
