John Robert Jaramillo "Rambo", age 64, passed away Friday, July 21, 2006. A lifetime resident of Albuquerque, he was raised on Sedillo Hill and served honorably in the U.S. Army. John Robert attended Highland High School and retired from the City of Albuquerque Water Utilities Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emeterio and Susana Jaramillo; sister, Candida Rael; uncle, Claude Jaramillo; in-laws, Domingo and Edisa and Pedro and Estefena Estrada. John Robert is survived by his wife of 32 years, Frances Jaramillo; sister, Tomasita Jaramillo; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, with burial following at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery, off Coors and Arenal, with U.S. Army Honors. Pallbearers will be Ray Estrada, Joe Estrada, Manuel Estrada, Paul Cadwell, Robert Jaramillo, and Alex Jaramillo.
