Annie Pino Vargas, 87, crossed over into the Spirit World on July 6, 2006. Interment took place on July 7, 2006 at The Pueblo of Acoma. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Thayer-White and husband, Ralph White, of Albuquerque; son, Joseph Vargas of Albuquerque; four sisters, Mary Garcia and husband, David, of the Pueblo of Acoma, Inez Seiler and husband, Carl, of Louisville, KY, Lucy Sullivan and husband, Don, of Melrose, NM, Angelita Schrecengost and husband, Robert, of Smiths, AL; and brother, Rafael Pino and wife, Frances, of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends. A Memorial Gathering for Annie will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with a reception to follow.
