Crystal Lynn Townes passed away suddenly July 16, 2006. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald. She is survived by her parents, Bill and Helen Townes; great aunt, Nina Butz; her brother, Ron, sister, Stephanie Adams, brother, Tim, and wife Kathleen, brother, Andy, and wife, Rhonda; companion, Wendy, (Phoenix) Carlisle and son, Joshua; nieces, Rhonda Ackerman, Robyn Adams, Allison Goodman, Deelynn Townes; nephews, Ron Townes, Jr., Drew Townes, and, great-nephew, Jonah Adams. Crystal was born in Wichita, KS on September 4, 1953. Crystal worked in information technology for 22 years. For the last six years she was employed as Senior Database Administrator for Sun Healthcare. Prior to Sun, she was a 10-year employee of the City of Albuquerque. Crystal's interests included horseback riding, alpine skiing and caring for her beloved dogs, cats and other animals. Crystal touched many lives with her kindness, generosity, integrity and humor. We will never stop missing her and we find great comfort knowing that she is now in the arms of Jesus Christ. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church 10000 Candelaria NE, 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2006.
