Ernest Moncallo, age 43, was born June 23, 1963 in Abernathy, TX and was raised in Albuquerque, NM. He went home to the Lord, Friday, July 14, 2006. Preceded in death by his father, Ernest Moncallo Sr.; father-in-law, Freddie Vigil; and brother-in-law, Fernando Vigil, Ernest is survived by his wife, Karen Moncallo, his high school sweetheart of 27 years; one son, Jared Moncallo; one daughter, Jenesis Torres and husband, Nicholas; his one and only grandson, Nicholas Jr., who was his pride and joy; one brother, Raymond Davila; three sisters, Elizabeth Gallardo, Julie Espinosa, and Eva Wiggins and husband, Paul; his parents, Paul and Mary Espinosa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Memorial services will be held at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, Coors and St. Joseph's NW. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., with Fr. Frank Prieto celebrant.
