James R. "Jim" Bottomley, Sr., born in Philipsburg, PA on March 8, 1930, and died on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Patt, of the family home; daughter, Jenette Heinson and husband, Larry of Sequim, WA; sons, Bob Bottomley of Stevenson, WA and Kevin Bottomley and wife, Yolanda of Kona, HI; step-sons, David Cooper and wife, Joyce, of Romeoville, IL, Douglas Cooper and wife, Emily, of Oregon City, OR, Scott Cooper and wife, JoAnn, of Albuquerque, and Brent Cooper and wife, Danielle, of Salt Lake City, UT; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters; one brother-in-law; one niece and her husband, all of Treasure Lake, PA. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, 4:00 p.m., at The Jemez Valley High School - Warrior Gym, with Rev. Daniel Clymer, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jemez Valley Education Foundation, for the Jim Bottomley Memorial Scholarship Fund, at the Jemez Valley Credit Union, 17117 Hwy 4, Jemez Spring, NM 87025.
