Faye D. Cabber, age 87, passed away on July 2, 2006 in Albuquerque. Known as Mama Faye by family and friends, Faye was born in Roswell on April 15, 1919. She is preceded in death by her husband, Max and three sisters, Dixie, Juanita, and Doris. Mama Faye is survived by her three children, Max and wife, Betty of Estancia, Karen of Tucson, and Nancy of Albuquerque; brother, Tom Dresser and wife, Marge of Carlsbad; four grandchildren, Max III, Michael Cabber and wife, Danette, Casey and Tyler Morris; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Clay, Katie, and Kristie; a favorite niece, Pat and husband, John Stanalonis; plus many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mama Faye loved playing cards, gardening, reading, painting, and crocheting. The family wishes to thank Vista Care Hospice for their loving care of Mama Faye. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to Vista Care, 5639 Jefferson NE, ABQ, NM 87109 would be appreciated.
