Obituary for JOBE

Alvin G. Jobe, 77, long-time Albuquerque resident, passed away at his home on June 10, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mabel Jobe; two brothers; a sister; and his wife of 53 years. Alvin was born December 14, 1929, at Westlake, ID, where he attended school, graduating from Craigmont High in 1946. He soon enlisted in the military where he was a meat inspector at various bases in Japan, Europe, and the U.S. Alvin married Francis Tipton in Saline, KS, February 28, 1953. After retiring from the military, they lived in Oklahoma, Idaho, and finally Albuquerque. Alvin enjoyed raising worms for fishing, walking the mall with friends, and fishing at Heron Lake. He was laid to rest with his wife at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Alvin Jobe is survived by friends, neighbors, and family in Lewiston, ID.
