Lottie 77 went to be with our Lord June 23, 2006 after a short illness. Lottie was born Sept. 13, 1928 in Lemitar, NM to Tranquilino and Annie Padilla. At the age of 17 she moved to Winslow AZ and worked as a Harvey Girl at the Harvey House. She moved back to Albuq. with her son Tony after her husband passed away unexpectedly. She worked as the window decorator for Kress and McClellens dept stores in downtown for many years. She met John in 1959 and they were married in the old Sacred Heart Parish. Lottie later worked and retired from APS in the cafeteria at Adobe Acres Elem. Lottie was devoted to her 4 boys and their sports, she would make her homemade "bean burritos" for those weekly games at Babe Ruth and South Valley Little league. Lottie was blessed to have eight grandchildren and four great-granddaughters and many adopted grandkids. She is survived by her spouse, John of 47 years; sons, Anthony Orosco and spouse, Dolores, Danny, Mike and spouse, Gloria, Richard and spouse, Patricia; brothers, Johnnie and Flora Padilla of Albuq., Charlie and Laura Padilla of Socorro NM, Aris and Ruby Padilla of Albuq. A private viewing from 1-3 p.m. will be at Riverside Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW. Mass of Christian burial, Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. St. Anne church Fr. John Touranguea officiating. Burial will be in Lemitar NM . Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Allen Jr., Jeffrey, James and Adam Baros, Jason Orosco and Anthony Sandoval. Honorary pallbearers; granddaughters Carolyn, Samantha, Sileah, Sydney and Simone Sandoval, Eva and Angela Baros
