Linda Suzanne Padilla, 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2006 with her loving family at her side. Linda was born May 7, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA to Fredrick and Avis Wilson. Linda raised her two daughters in Monrovia, CA where she worked as an accountant. In 1995 Linda retired and moved to Rio Rancho, NM. Some of Linda's favorite pastimes included spending time with family and friends, reading, bargain shopping, and quilting. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Ben J. Padilla of Albuquerque; two daughters, Suzanne Edwards and husband, Scott of Albuquerque, and Stephanie Trujillo and husband, Matt of Rio Rancho; and her three grandchildren, Sarah Edwards, Alyssa Trujillo, and Ethan Trujillo. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. The Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln, Rio Rancho followed by Entombment in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ben Padilla, Scott Edwards, Thomas Schrimpf, Matt Trujillo, Phil Fleming, and Roger Trujillo. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary Rio Rancho, New Mexico 892-9920
