Obituary for VIGIL

Helen Mrs. Helen Vigil, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 9, 2006 with her loving family by her side and is now in Heaven with the Lord. Mrs. Vigil is the beloved mother to Lorraine King and husband, Michael, to Steven Vigil and wife, Leticia, Danny Vigil and wife, Kathy, David Vigil and wife, Dena. Mrs. Vigil is also survived by one brother, Jose Ferrer; two sisters, Gloria Baca and Mary Delia Lovato; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Vigil was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel, a son, Rosendo and a step-sister, Annie. Mrs. Vigil was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Vigil will be Monday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Edwins Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW by Father Bill Sanchez. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. where she will be layed to rest with her husband, Miguel Vigil. Pallbearers will be Daniel Vigil, Conrad Torres, Ronald Torres, Jeremy Holmes, Greg Holmes and Tomas King. Honorary pallbearers will be, James Vigil, Jessie Vigil, Joel Vigil, Adrian Martin del Campo and Jason Vigil. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
