Heraldo Perea, age 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called to his heavenly home by Lord our Savior, Wednesday, June 7, 2006, while surrounded by his loving family. He was a long-time resident of Corrales, NM and a member of San Ysidro Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping, working on his yard, and especially family gatherings. Heraldo is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Perea of the family home; his children, Jessie Perea and wife, Corrine, Ray Perea and wife, Marla, and Yvonne Quintana and husband, George; 12 precious grandchildren, Jesus Juan Jr., Jessica, Joshua, Ray Jr., Melissa, Chanelle, Michael, Katie, Cristy, Crystal, Diana, and Darlene; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are six sisters, Mable Marques, Adelina Cordova, Erminda Garcia, Amelia Garcia, Frances Crespin and husband, Tony, and Viola Farfan and husband, Clifford; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Heraldo will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be today (Friday) from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Pallbearers will be Michael Perea, Ray Perea Jr., Joshua Perea, Jonathan Rodriquez, Kyle Rodriguez, and Martin Garcia. Honorary bearers will be Brandon Brown and Alfred Richardson.
