Celina Roybal, a lifelong resident, went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2006 at the age of 93. She was born in Las Vegas, NM on June 14, 1912. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margarito and Rebecca Roybal; three brothers, Margarito Roybal Jr., Ben Roybal, and Juanito Roybal; two sisters, Elisia Padilla and Maclovia Roybal. She is survived by her niece, Dora Polaco and husband, Eloy; great-nephews, Anthony and wife, Cathy Polaco and Rick and wife, Louise Polaco; great-niece, Linda Armijo and fiance, Filberto Quintana; and numerous other great-great-nieces and -nephews and other family members who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary.
