Obituary for MASCARENAS

Beatrice C. Mascarenas, 55, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Thursday, June 1, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Mascarenas; parents, Juan and Mary Vigil; brothers, Joe Vigil and wife, Carmen, Paul Vigil and wife, Margaret and John Vigil and wife, Wanda, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Theresa Pena and husband, David of Springer, NM, Elizabeth Holt and husband, Roy of Clovis, NM; father-in-law, Alfonso Mascarenas; sisters-in-law, Juanita Mascarenas, Carmen Mascarenas, and Connie Mascarenas, all of Albuquerque; niece and God-daughter, Denise Maldonado; and many other dear nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mascarenas worked at Desert Ridge Middle School. She also worked at the UNM Center for Disabilities and the College of Nursing. She was a parishioner at Risen Savior Catholic Community. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, June 6, 2006, 7:00 p.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Deacon Kenn Sinatra reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 7, 2006, 9:30 a.m., at Risen Savior with Father Anthony Romero, Celebrant.
