Bessie Lowe, 98, a resident of Albuquerque for over 70 years, passed away June 1, 2006. She was born April 29, 1908 near Portales, NM to J.W. and Tennie (Fisher) Morrison. She married Sir Walter Lowe on June 22, 1933, and they raised three sons together. Bessie was a loving mother, a beloved grandmother, and a great friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Bessie enjoyed reading, cooking, loved working in her garden and being in the outdoors. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband and a son, David Truett Lowe. She is survived by her sons, Carroll Lowe and his family and Wayne Carroll and his family. Many relatives and friends survive her. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday June 5, 2006 at Fairview Memorial Park.
