Linda Raye Farmer, 70, passed away May 22, 2006 in her home in Pahrump, NV, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia. Born in Childress, TX, October 1, 1935, she had lived in Pahrump since 1997. For 30 years Linda lived in New Mexico in the Albuquerque, Belen, and Los Lunas area. Linda was first a mother and wife and then an advertising specialty salesperson as well as an active community member with the Los Lunas Chamber of Commerce where she served as president. Even when near death, her concerns were for other people, which stemmed from her strong Christian faith. She will be sorely missed. Lind is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Farmer; mother, Jewell Burns; daughter, Susan Gates; son, Michael Farmer; sister, Pat Monden; brother, Buddy Burns; three grandchildren; and dog, Babe.
