Frances E. Gamble, 72, a part-time resident of Corrales for the past several years, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 after a brief illness. Fran, daughter of Frank and Margaret Guilfoyle, was born in Boston, MA. She married Norman J. Gamble and moved to Pottersville, NY in the Adirondack Mountains. Fran was always a "city-girl" and very proud of being a "Boston Irish Catholic Democrat." Over the past 20 years, she has been a frequent visitor to the Albuquerque area. Fran is survived by her son, Joseph E. Gamble and wife, Dr. Lorraine Sanchez of Corrales; her daughters, Joan Viele and husband, Brent Faulkner of Santa Fe, Judy Riccio of Queensbury, NY, and Jane Gamble; beloved grandchildren, Sara, Nicolas, Hanna, and Emily; her sisters, Dotty Hanson and husband, Rod of Somerville, MA, Peggy Mehigan of Billerica, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Fran was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband; her sister, Rita Barber; and brother, Sonny Guilfoyle. Friends may visit French Mortuary - Westside Chapel on Tuesday evening, May 23, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. where a Memorial Reception will be held. A Mass and interment will be in Pottersville, NY on Thursday, June 1, 2006. In lieu of flowers, Fran requested any memorial contributions be made to Amanda's House, P.O.
