John Harry Wambaugh passed away peacefully among family at home on May 13, 2006. John was 89 years old, born on April 24, 1917. John proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1941 until 1943. Having retired from a satisfying career at US West (QWEST), John loved to travel with his loving companion, Trini Goodwin. His passion was treasure hunting. John is survived by his companion, Trini Goodwin; and many of his "grandchildren": Dave and Ann Williams, Alan and Saida Aguilar, and Artchie Aguilar. John also has "great-grandchildren" who will miss him immenseley, Sandra and Shauna Williams, Micheel Rellama, and Christian Aguilar. John will be resting at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe with honors. Rest well old friend, we love you and miss you . . . There will be a small gathering at the Solo Club on June 4, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. for John.
