Agnes Ida Smith, 83, died Friday, May 9, 2006 at her home in Cheyenne, WY after a short illness. She was born in Albuquerque on March 9, 1923 and moved to Cheyenne in mid 2005. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Smith of Cheyenne, Marianna Edgar and husband Craig of Cheyenne; brother, Fred Brown and wife, Beverly of TX; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Smith; daughter, Susan M. Furrow; one sister; and three brothers. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Ideal Pinochle Club for over sixty years and enjoyed oil painting and gardening. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. At the request of Mrs. Smith there will be no viewing. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Davis Hospice Center, United Medical Center Foundation, 214 East 23rd Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001. The family of Agnes I.
