Narciso Garcia Sr. went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2006 at the age of 81. He was born on June 24, 1924 in Cedar Crest, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Garcia; four sons, David Segura, Pedro Segura, Joe Garcia, and Robert Garcia. Narciso is survived by six sons, Marvin Garcia and wife, Cindy, Narciso Garcia Jr. and wife, Katherine, Larry Garcia and wife, Carmen, Jerry Garcia and wife, Theresa, Estevan Garcia and wife, Dora, and Albino Garcia and wife, Marie; one daughter, Sara Cody and husband, Roger; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m., also at the San Antonio Church. Interment will follow at the Canoncito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marvin Garcia Jr., Daniel Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Camilo Garcia, Joe Chavez, and Benny Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be his children.
