VIOLA C. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2006 at South Park Cemetery, for Viola C. Isbell-Neller, age 95 of Roswell, who passed away May 10, 2006, at LaVilla Assisted Living. Rev. Archie Echols of the First United Methodist Church will conduct the service. The Order of Eastern Star will assist. The family will receive friends at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the Service. Viola was born January 1, 1911 to John Harding and Ida Mae Green Canady, in Okfuskee, OK. She graduated from House High School, and also New Mexico Highland University. She retired as a school teacher after teaching 37 years. She was a member of the local and state Retired Teacher's Associations, a member of the Order Of Eastern Star, Roswell Chapter #10, and the Masonic Widow's Club. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. On July 28, 1934 she married Todd Isbell in Frederick, OK. He passed away in 1985. She then married George Neller on January 15, 1993. He passed away in 1999. Others that have preceded her in death are two brothers, Eli Canady and John Wesley Canady. Survivors include a son, Donald Isbell and his wife, Ann of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Krista Lynn Fowler and husband, Dean; and great-grandchildren, Trevor and Payton Fowler. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
