Selwyn Cline "S.C." King, 78, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed into the arms of the Lord on May 8, 2006. S.C. was born in Portales, NM on October 27, 1927. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; four brothers; and son, Phillip King, Sr. S.C. is survived by daughters, Patsy Green and husband, Scott, of Shallowater, TX, Sharon Reyes and husband, Robert, of Lubbock, TX, Rebecca Bonney and Marsha Walenciak, both of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and long-time girlfriend, Colleen Higgins. S.C. was a retiree of PNM, a veteran of the Armed Forces, and was a member of several organizations. Services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour immediately preceding the Service.
