Michael D. Nettleton, age 61, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on May 6, 2006. Michael was born on November 11, 1944 in Quincy, IL. He was the owner and qualifying broker for Village Realty of Los Lunas. Mike graduated from Los Lunas High School, attended the University of New Mexico and the College of St. Joseph and Bellevue College. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam conflict. Mike held a variety of positions during his life including manager with Foodway and Frontier Airlines. Mike has spent 18 years in Real Estate and 15 years as a broker. He was a graduate of the New Mexico Real Estate Institute, Tom Hopkins, Floyd Wickmans Courses, and a Multi Million Dollar Producer. Mike was a member of the Albuquerque Metro Board of Realtors and the Valencia County Board of Realtors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Janice Nettleton; and a sister, Susie Nettleton Askew. Mike is survived by an aunt, Florence Janney of Gainesville, GA; two sisters, Vicki J. Johnston of Ellicott City, MD and Sandra N. Herhold of Centennial, CO; a son, Michael Olsson of Virginia; and a daughter, Dr. Kelly Cromer of Nebraska; seven grandchildren; and his family at Village Realty. Services will be held at Church of Christ, Bosque Farms, NM, on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, beginning with a viewing at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. A Service will be held in LaBelle, MO at Newark Christ Church on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at Newark Cemetery.
