Margaret Sarah Williams, 95, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 30 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Margaret was born January 22, 1911 the daughter of Edward and Vesta Doolin Snavely in Osgood, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Watson Woody, in 1947. She loved to cook, and was an excellent one. Very devoted to her daughter, and always followed her daughter whenever she moved around the country. Margaret was a garage sale "fanatic". She loved to sing, and was singing "Jesus Loves Me" up until she passed away. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Snavely and granddaughter, Michelle Mayhew in Dec. of 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Dye and husband, James of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Debbie Dye and life partner, Gail, of Albuquerque; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Tyler Mayhew of Montrose, CO; nieces, Linda Bade and Judy Ohnesorge of Missouri, and Opal Kain of Kansas City, MO . The Visitation for Margaret will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Reverend Harry Chapman of the Westside Cumberland Presbyterian Church officiating. Entombment will follow in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Don Mellecker and Susan Suazo. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Panto and Thomas Panto.
