Dr. Harlan "Sandy" Shaw, 77, a resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years passed on Sunday April 23rd 2006. His father, mother and sister preceded him in death. Dr. Shaw is survived by his wife of 57 years, Harriet; daughter, Cyndy Lopez and her husband, Joey; daughter, Kay Lane; his "little buddy" grandson, David Lopez; brothers, Roger and Ronald Shaw; brother-in-law, Ove Hedahl; and many nieces and nephews. Dr. H.D. Shaw was a prominent Chiropractor in Albuquerque up until his retirement in 1995. He was also a long time member of the York Rite and Ballut Abyad Shriners, recently belonging to the Alb-A-Kar unit. A private family interment was held and a memorial will take place at a later date.
