Marion Elisabeth Babski, 88, an Albuquerque resident since 1977, died Thursday, April 27, 2006. She is survived by her beloved husband, Witold Leon Babski, and many cherished friends. She was born on June 24, 1927 in New York City. Her entire career was spent in the New York fashion industry, starting as a publicity copywriter and later becoming a fashion reporter in connection with the London and Paris couture. In 1953 she joined an international firm in public relations and advertising to promote its several trademarks in the apparel and home furnishings field.
